My name is Cathy and I have been breeding dogs, East German Shepherds in general, since 1998  www.nordostenkennel.com. I strive to breed for the best temperament and health. I do not breed for a specific color or size. Color & size should be the standard for the breed.

I have always had an interest in Pembroke Welsh Corgi's and started researching them in 2002. In 2004, I found a wonderful breeder in Michigan where  I purchased "Mini" (Rip'n Mini Cooper). Soon after Mini came, I was referred to another breeder in Michigan where I purchased "Mickey" (Triple Tac's Monkey Business). I have been extremely pleased with both dogs.

Mini & Mickey were tested for Von Willebands disease and are negative. There eyes are clear and certified with CERF. They both have nice temperaments and have been raised around children, whom they adore.

Mini is a black tri weighing 25-28lbs, Mickey is red & white weighing 30-33lbs. Mickey is larger boned, therefor weighing alittle more.

Mini is an excellent retriever and tracker. She is very independent, but listens very well. She loves having a job to do and is very good at agility. Mini has a great working attitude.

Mickey is a lover boy with a happy-go-lucky attitude. He will retrieve, and has more of a herding instinct, but would rather cuddle by your side. He is more flashy looking for show.
